Formation history:
- Construction Joint Stock Company No. 21 is a member unit of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation - Vinaconex. Formerly known as architectural team II of Ha Tay architectural company, it transformed into the Southern Construction Company according to Decision No. 836/QD-UB dated May 7, 1969 of the Ha Tay Provincial Administrative Committee.
- Since 1969 the Company has become an independent economic accounting unit with the task of constructing works in Ha Dong town and Ha Tay province, the old Ha Son Binh province.
- In 1992, the company transformed into the Southern Construction Company according to decision No. 473/QD-UB dated December 1, 1992 of the People's Committee of Ha Tay province.
- On October 1, 2002, the People's Committee of Ha Tay province issued Decision No. 1362/QD/UB regarding the transfer of the Southern Construction Company of Ha Tay province to a member enterprise of the Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation.
- On October 11, 2002, the Minister of Construction issued Decision No. 1278/QD-BXD on accepting South Ha Tay Construction Company as a member of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation and changing its name to Construction Company No. 21 - Vinaconex 21.
- According to the Government's policy on innovation and enterprise development, on December 14, 2004, the Minister of Construction issued Decision No. 1995/QD-BXDv/v converting Construction Company No. 21 into Construction Joint Stock Company No. 21 with an initial capital of 5,812,500,000 VND.
Charter capital increase process
- December 14, 2004: Registered charter capital of 6 billion VND, actual charter capital contribution of 5.8 billion VND, an increase of 6 billion VND through the establishment of a joint stock company.
- January 30, 2008: Registered charter capital of 17 billion VND, actual contributed charter capital of 17 billion VND, an increase of 11 billion VND through the form of issuing shares to the Corporation to ensure the holding rate and offering to existing shareholders.
- December 25, 2015: Registered charter capital of 40 billion VND, actual contributed charter capital of 40 billion VND, an increase of 23 billion VND through the form of private share issuance requiring debt deduction.
