Establishment History:
- Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 (VINACONEX 1) was established in 1973 with the original name Moc Chau Construction Company under the Ministry of Construction, with the task of building the entire Moc Chau Industrial Park - Son La province. La.
- From 1977 to 1995, after being renamed many times from Construction Company No. 11; In 1981, the company was renamed Large Housing Construction Complex No. 1 under the Ministry of Construction; In 1993, the Company was allowed by the Ministry of Construction to change its name to Construction Complex No. 1 under the Ministry of Construction with the main task of not only housing construction but also the construction of civil and industrial works.
- On April 15, 1995, the Ministry of Construction decided to merge Construction Complex No. 1 into Vietnam Construction Import-Export Corporation VINACONEX and from then on the new name was: Construction Company No. 1 - Vinaconco 1.
- According to the policy of reforming state-owned enterprises, on August 29, 2003, the Ministry of Construction issued Decision No. 1173/QD-BXD on converting Construction Company No. 1 under Vietnam Construction Import-Export Corporation into The new name of the joint stock company is: Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 (VINACONEX 1).
- Implementing Decision No. 158/QD/TTGDHN dated April 24, 2009 on approving the listing of shares of Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 - stock code VC1 was officially listed on the Hanoi stock exchange. Stock code VC1 is the 183rd member of Hanoi exchange.
- Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 has 55.13% capital contributed by Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation VINCONEX as representative.
