Construction Joint Stock Company No. 3, formerly Construction Company No. 5, was established under Decision No. 171A/BXD-TCLĐ dated May 5, 1993 of the Ministry of Construction, later renamed Construction Company 5.1 under Decision No. 702/BXD-TCLD dated July 19, 1995 of the Ministry of Construction, and on January 2, 1995 was renamed Construction Company 3 according to Decision No. 02/BXD-TCLD of the Ministry of Construction and now is Construction Joint Stock Company No. 3 established under Decision No. 1049/QD/BXD dated August 7, 2002 of the Minister - Ministry of Construction transferred State-owned enterprise, Construction Company No. 3 became Construction Joint Stock Company No. 3 - VINACONEX 3 with charter capital of 6.2 billion VND. In 2007, the Company issued an increase in charter capital to 80 billion VND to meet capital for investment projects to build new urban areas invested by the Company.
Date December 13, 2007 shares of Construction Joint Stock Company No. 3 (VC3) officially traded on the Hanoi Stock Exchange Center.

Company's business field:

Contracting construction of civil, industrial, post office, irrigation works, road traffic at all levels, airports, ports, bridges and culverts, urban infrastructure works and industrial parks, transmission lines and transformer stations up to 110KV, foundation leveling, soft soil treatment for water supply and drainage construction works, installation of industrial pipes, refrigeration, interior and exterior decoration, processing and installation of all kinds of aluminum and glass frames;
Construction and business of houses, office leasing, real estate business, tourist hotels;
Installation of all types of concrete structures, steel structures, engineering systems (elevators, air conditioners, firefighting ventilation)
Production and trading of construction materials, bricks and tiles, stone, sand, gravel, cement, roofing sheets, wood used in construction, production and trading of wooden furniture, consumer goods.
Construction investment consulting, implementation of investment projects;
Motorbike rental, repair and maintenance services, construction equipment business;
Import and export business of handicrafts, agricultural, forestry and fishery products, consumer goods.
