Establishment History:
- Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company's predecessor was Da Nang Textile Production - Import-Export Company (State-owned enterprise). The company implemented equitization according to Decision No. 142/2004/QD-BCN dated November 23, 2004 of the Ministry of Industry to change to the form of joint stock company.
- The company is an independent accounting unit, operating under Business Registration Certificate No. 3203000715 dated August 8, 2005 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang City, with an initial charter capital of 10 billion VND. In December 2006, the Company issued 10 billion par value shares to increase charter capital to 20 billion VND according to the resolution of the 2nd General Meeting of Shareholders dated September 7, 2006
- On July 1, 2008, Da Nang Textile Production - Import-Export Joint Stock Company changed its name to Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company.
- On March 31, 2010, Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company officially listed its shares on the Upcom stock exchange with the stock code VDN. The total listed quantity is 2,000,000 shares, face value 10 thousand VND. The purpose of bringing shares to the trading floor is to increase charter capital and reinvest in facilities and expand production scale.
