VNECO1 Electricity Construction Joint Stock Company is an equitized state-owned enterprise with 28.08% capital of Vietnam Electricity Construction Joint Stock Corporation. VNECO1's predecessor was Electrical Construction Company 3.1 (under Electrical Construction Company 3) established on April 8, 2003 according to Decision 48/2003/QD - BCN of the Minister of Industry on the basis of merging the Mechanical Construction & Electrical Construction Enterprise and the Mechanical Construction Team.
On December 6, 2004, the Company officially operated in the form of a joint stock company with an initial investment capital of 5.5 billion VND, named Electricity Construction Joint Stock Company 3.1 according to Decision No. 158/2004/QD – BCN of the Minister of Industry.
The company listed its shares on the Hanoi stock exchange on September 4, 2008.

Business

Construction and installation of power grid systems, power transformer stations up to 500kV and power source projects, industrial and civil projects, traffic, irrigation, telecommunications, cultural, sports, stadium projects harbor bay;
Manufacturing equipment and accessories;
Exploitation and trading of sand, stone, gravel and other types of construction materials;
Business and development of housing and urban technical infrastructure, industrial parks, export processing zones, high-tech parks, new economic zones;
Import and export business: supplies, electrical equipment, construction materials, transportation equipment, construction vehicles;
Cargo transportation business, repair of construction motorcycles and transport vehicles;
Manufacturing steel structures, mechanical and galvanized products;
Production of concrete products;
Gasoline and oil business;
Invest in independent power plants, produce and trade electricity;
Doing other businesses in accordance with the provisions of the Law.
