Establishment History
- VNECO4 Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company, formerly known as the Electromechanical Enterprise under Electrical Construction Company 3 (now Vietnam Electrical Construction Joint Stock Corporation), was established in 1989. Immediately after its establishment, the Enterprise immediately began implementing the line and station construction business with voltage levels up to 220kV, processing and manufacturing galvanized steel poles for lines with voltage levels up to 220kV. 220kV transmission line (including the column crossing the Gianh river of the 220kV Vinh - Dong Hoi transmission line), successfully manufacturing a number of electrical accessories that the Company previously had to import from the former Soviet Union.
- In 2003, implementing the policy of equitizing state-owned enterprises to match the development trend of the economy, the Electromechanical Enterprise was converted into a joint stock company with the name Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company 3.4 according to Decision No. 121/2003/QD-BCN dated July 11, 2003 of the Minister of Industry as a member company of the Electrical Construction Company. 3.
- In 2006, 3.4 Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company was renamed VNECO4 Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company. Currently, the Company has a full staff of management departments, electrical construction teams, industrial workshops and construction motorbike teams. The company has recruited and trained a team of skilled technical workers with extensive experience in the construction and installation of overhead power transmission projects with voltage levels up to 500kV and the construction and installation of transformer stations with voltage levels up to 220kV. The company has participated in the construction and installation of 500kV North-South circuit 1 projects; circuit 2; Pleiku - Phu Lam 500kV transmission line, Quang Ninh - Thuong Tin 500kV transmission line ; Son La - Hoa Binh - Nho Quan 500kV transmission line, Son La - Hiep Hoa 500kV transmission line, Tuyen Quang - Yen Bai 220kV transmission line; 220kV Yen Bai - Lao Cai transmission line and many other key power projects in all parts of the country.
- In 2008, from the initial charter capital of 5.15 billion VND, the Company increased it to over 8.2 billion VND and currently the actual contributed charter capital is 10.28 billion VND. The Company's production and business continue to grow year by year, annual output and revenue increase, each year higher than the previous year.
- Although there is extremely fierce competition in the electrical construction market, VNECO4 Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company has enough capacity and construction experience to participate in electrical works and projects with voltage levels up to 500 kV and has actually proven its brand in the electrical construction market and has been highly appreciated by electrical project management boards and Vietnam Electricity Corporation.
- Over the past years, VNECO4 has continuously been praised and rewarded by all levels and sectors for its achievements in production, business and construction of electrical projects. One of those certificates of merit is as shown in the pictures below.
- In 2012, the Company was approved to list shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange according to Decision No. 352/QD-SGDHN dated September 12, 2012 of Hanoi Stock Exchange.
