• Established: VNECO 8 Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Tay Nguyen Electrical Construction Enterprise, was established under Decision No. 16/QD-HĐQT dated May 18, 1999 of Vietnam Industrial Construction Corporation on the basis of reorganizing Electrical Construction Team 2 and General Construction and Electrical Testing Team. As a member unit, dependent accounting of Electric Construction Company 3.
• Conversion into a Joint Stock Company: In 2003, implementing Decree No. 64/2002/ND-CP dated June 19, 2002 of the Government on converting state-owned enterprises into Joint Stock Companies and Decision No. 46/2002/ND-BCN dated October 22, 2002 of the Government. Minister of Industry on reorganizing Electrical Construction Company 3 into a State Holding Company under the Ministry of Industry and Decision No. 54/2002/QD-BCN dated December 16, 2002 of the Minister of Industry on approving the Charter of organization and operation of Electrical Construction Company 3, piloting operations according to the Parent Company - Subsidiary Company model.
• Implementing Decision No. 132/2003/QD-BCN dated August 7, 2003 on converting Tay Nguyen Electrical Construction Enterprise under Electrical Construction Company 3 into Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company 3.8 of the Minister of Industry and Decision No. 146/2003/QD-BCN dated September 11, 2003 on amending Clause 1, Article 1 Decision 132. On November 19, 2003, the first General Meeting of Shareholders of Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company 3.8 was solemnly organized, becoming an independent accounting company and a Subsidiary Company in the system of Subsidiaries of Electrical Construction Company 3. Charter capital at the time of equitization was 5,000,000,000 VND.
• When Electrical Construction Company 3 - State parent company was equitized according to Decision No. 3309/QD-BCN dated October 11, 2005 of the Minister of Industry, Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company 3.8 was renamed VNECO 8 Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company according to the Resolution of the 2006 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
• In 2006, the Company issued bonus shares to existing shareholders with capital extracted from the development investment fund and charter capital increased to 5,579,000,000 VND
• In 2007, the Company issued shares to existing shareholders and employees in the Company, the Company's charter capital increased to 11,307,960,000 VND
• In 2010, the Company paid stock dividends equivalent to 6.12%, charter capital increased to 12,000,000,000 VND
• In 2011, the Company continued to issue shares and the result of the issuance reached 6 billion VND and the Company's charter capital was 18,000,000,000 VND
• Along with the strong development of the electricity industry in general and of Vietnam Electricity Construction Joint Stock Corporation in particular, VNECO 8 Electricity Construction Joint Stock Company is gradually maturing, developing continuously, affirming its prestige and position with the scale and quality of completed and ongoing projects. Deserves to be one of the strong units in the Subsidiary Company system of Vietnam Electricity Construction Joint Stock Corporation (VNECO). In order to promote the Company's competitiveness in the period of world economic integration, diversifying business lines.
