Establishment History:
- Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company is a joint stock company converted from Vinh Hoan Company Limited in April 2007, with the main business field being processing and exporting frozen Pangasius and Basa fish. Vinh Hoan Company Limited was established at the end of 1997 with a charter capital of 300 million VND.
- Year 2009: Received AquaGap certificate for pangasius farming;
- 2010: Leading Vietnam's pangasius export industry according to statistics of the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (“VASEP”); Receive GlobalGap certificate for pangasius farming; Receive ISO 22000 certificate for quality management system
- Year 2011: Received the Third Class Labor Medal for the collective Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company and Ms. Truong Thi Le Khanh, General Director according to Decision No. 150/QD- CTN dated January 28, 2011 of the President; Received the award for Best Retail Product in the competition Seafood Prix d'Elite 2011 at European fair Seafood Exhibition in Brussels, Belgium; BAP (Best Aquaculture Practice) certification with level “2 stars” for processing plants and farming areas.
- Year 2012: Receive Labor Medal class II for the Joint Stock Company Vinh Hoan section No. 1261/QD-CTN dated August 21, 2012 of President; Vinh Hoan is a Vietnamese enterprise First male to receive certificate sustainable farming ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) for farms pangasius
- Year 2013: Get GlogalGap certificate for barramundi farming area; Starting factory construction Collagen and Gelatin production with capacity 2,000 tons product/year.
- Year 2014: Vinh Hoan is the only seafood company in list of 50 best listed companies in Vietnam voted by Forbes magazine ( Forbes Vietnam number June 2014 ); Is one of the 50 most effective business companies Vietnam voted by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine; Divestment from pellet food business through full transfer at Vinh Hoan 1 Seafood Joint Stock Company and acquired 99.06% of Thua Joint Stock Company shares Van Duc Tien Giang.
