Establishment History
- Year 2003: On July 14, 2003, Vietnam-Korea Investment & Production Joint Stock Company (VIET-HAN CORPORATION) was established on the basis of shareholders with business experience from developed countries such as the US, Europe, and Korea.
- Year 2004: Telecommunications cable products branded VIET-HAN CABLE were OEM from Korea and appeared in the Vietnamese market.
- Year 2005: September 2005, exported the first shipment of telecommunications cables
- 2006: Producing telecommunications cables with a capacity of 2,400 pairs, becoming the largest cable manufacturer in Vietnam
- 2007: Telecommunications cable factory reached a capacity of 3,000,000 double kilometers/year, becoming one of the leading telecommunications cable manufacturing factories in Vietnam. Inauguration of phase 1 of electric wire and cable factory (VPC) + Inauguration of fiber optic cable factory. Acquired Viet-Korea Plastic Joint Stock Company, invested in building a factory to produce products from glass fiber reinforcement (VPF). INDOCHINA CAPITAL becomes the strategic pioneer and VINA CAPITAL is the major shareholder of VHG. PHON VINH CORP and HANDIC fully cooperate with VHG. VNR-Top 500 Company ranks VHG in the Top 500 largest private enterprises in Vietnam
- Year 2008: January 28, 2008 VIET-HAN CORPORATION (VHG) shares officially traded on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange. March 2008: Inaugurated a factory manufacturing products from FRP glass fiber reinforcement +April 2008: Investing in a materials technology factory in Quang Nam (VMC). May 2008: Completed phase 2 investment project for VPC and VPF Factory. November 2008: Implemented a project to plant 4,115 hectares of rubber in Quang Nam. December 2008: Owned land for a high-rise building project at 09 Le Duan, 02 Yen Bai, Da Nang City. VNR-Top 500 Company continues to rank VHG in the Top 500 largest private enterprises in Vietnam
- Year 2009: May 2009: Inaugurated a material manufacturing factory (VMC) with a capacity of 80 million products/year. November 2009: Successfully produced FRP products with a diameter of over 4m and a capacity of 150m3
- Year 2010: February 2010: Changed VHG's development strategy fundamentally, thereby unifying the construction of VHG to develop around the practice axis with the priority order being Real estate, service industry infrastructure - Rubber planting and processing - Production of basic construction materials - Investment in exploitation and processing of non-ferrous metals...Month June 2010: Research to expand 9,000 hectares of rubber trees in Quang Nam province. September 2010: Implemented experimental items to complete the technical design and prepare for the start of construction of the D'Everlyn building at 09 Le Duan, Da Nang City. November 2010: Splitting the plastic factory and producing products from glass fiber reinforcement (VPF) into two factories (1) VCC Composite materials factory (2) VPP plastic pipe factory; to focus on the in-depth development of these two product lines. December 2010: Invested in a resort real estate project in Non Nuoc beach area (Da Nang - Quang Nam) with a scale of 5.3 hectares.
- Year 2011: January 2011: Completed investment in upgrading and expanding the Composite factory. July 2011: The company granted an investment license to expand the rubber planting and processing project in Dong Giang, Quang Nam province from 4,115 hectares to 13,300 hectares. August 2011: Que Viet Quang Nam Company was licensed to invest in a high-end beach resort in the Non Nuoc - Hoi An area on an area of 5.3 hectares.
- Year 2012: June 2012: Member of Vietnam Rubber Association
- 2013: Developed and expanded rubber planting area to reach 13,303 hectares. Implemented restructuring of the entire Company's operations, increasing charter capital to 375 billion VND.
- 2014: Re-planning smallholder rubber areas and large-scale rubber farms. Establishing subsidiaries in mineral exploitation, infrastructure construction, and rubber product processing. Implement activities to support the development of the rubber processing industry, promote infrastructure development, build rubber processing factories and construction projects to serve tourism in Da Nang.
