Establishment History:
- Viglacera Ha Long Joint Stock Company, formerly known as the Polish Tile Factory, was established in 1978 and is a member unit of Viglacera Construction Glass and Ceramics Corporation.
- January 20, 2006: Ha Long Construction Ceramic Company officially transformed into a Joint Stock Company according to Decision No. 141/QD-BXD of the Ministry of Construction. The company operates in the form of a Joint Stock Company since March 1, 2006.
- As of November 30, 2007, after the end of the issuance, the Company's owner's investment capital reached 70 billion VND, capital surplus reached 44,889,200,000 VND. On January 14, 2008, the Company re-registered the Business Registration Certificate with a charter capital of 70 billion VND.
- Year 2008: The company won 1 of 6 Vietnam Quality Gold Awards (No. 2553/QD-BKH, November 17, 2008).
- The company was awarded the title Hero of Labor by the State (Decision No. 333/QD-CTN dated March 24, 2008 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).
- Year 2009: by December 2009, the Company achieved a revenue of 1,000 billion VND, setting a record in the fired clay brick and tile industry and personally Comrade Nguyen Quang Mau - former Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Company was honored to be awarded the title "Hero of Labor" by the State.
- 2010: The company won the Asia-Pacific Quality Award.
- Year 2011: Investment in tunnel kiln system No. 4 with a length of 120m at Tieu Giao Brick Factory (inaugurated on May 2, 2011) bringing the total design capacity to 180 million QTC bricks/year. Investment in line No. 5 at Cotto Gieng Day Brick Factory, increasing the total design capacity of the whole factory to reach 4.5 million QTC/year. The company was awarded the First Class Labor Medal (No. 1316/QD-CTN dated August 10, 2011 by the President).
- Year 2013: The company received the emulation flag from the Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements in comprehensive civil work tasks in the patriotic emulation movement in the construction industry in 2013.
- In 2014, the Company also received many medals and awards as follows:
- Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises awarded Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in production and business activities, building and developing the Vietnamese small and medium enterprise community in 2014.
- Enterprise for workers in 2014 - Excellent unit in the manufacturing sector in the Ranking organized by Labor Newspaper.
- Receive emulation flag from the Ministry of Construction; Emulation flag of the Ministry of Public Security; Emulation flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
- Recognized as a clean and strong Party Committee.
