Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- 2008: Formerly known as BIDV Urban Joint Stock Company - PP, established in early 2008 with an initial registered charter capital of 300 billion VND and headquartered at Bac A Building, No. 9 Dao Duy Anh, Phuong Lien Ward, Dong Da District, Ha Noi.
- In March 2009, the Company changed its name to South Hanoi Urban Development Joint Stock Company and in October 2009, the Company moved its headquarters to 191 Ba Trieu, Le Dai Hanh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi.
- On June 26, 2009, the Company completed the process of increasing its charter capital to 500 billion VND.
- On August 5, 2010, the Company completed the process of increasing its charter capital to 2,000 billion VND.
- On October 17, 2011, the number of shareholders of the Company reached 107 shareholders.
- On October 28, 2011, the Company received Official Letter No. 3585/UBCK-QLPH dated October 28, 2011 from the State Securities Commission announcing the completion of the public company registration process.
- On November 2, 2011, the Company received Securities Registration Certificate No. 69/2011/GCNCP-VSD from the Vietnam Securities Depository.
- On November 3, 2011, the Company received a Decision approving the registration of stock trading at the Hanoi Stock Exchange (UPCOM) with the stock code NHN.
- On December 7, 2011, the Company registered the operation of its branch in Hanoi under the name Vinmec International General Hospital
- Year 2012: Established the Company's business location at Vincom Village - No. 7 Bang Lang 1 Street, Vinhomes Riverside Ecological Urban Area, Viet Hung Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi and added business lines to the Company.
- In 2013: The company moved its headquarters to 458, Minh Khai Street, Vinh Tuy Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City and added more business lines.
- In May 2016, the Company officially submitted an application to cancel the registration of a public company due to having less than 100 shareholders.
- On June 29, 2016, the State Securities Commission issued an official dispatch noting that the Company does not meet the conditions of being a public company and will consider canceling public registration after one year on the basis of the Company's report.
- On May 27, 2017, the Company sent a report on not meeting the conditions of a public company after one year from the date of submitting the application to cancel public registration.
- On June 29, 2017, the State Securities Commission issued an official dispatch on canceling the Company's public company registration.
- On July 7, 2017, the Company received the Decision on canceling the trading registration for the Company's shares issued by the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
- On July 14, 2017, the Vietnam Securities Depository Center issued a written notice of cancellation of securities registration at VSD with the effective date of cancellation of registration being July 28, 2017.
- Starting from 2018, Vingroup - Joint Stock Company - parent company of Vinhomes continues to implement a plan to restructure the entire Group towards professionalization and centralization. Accordingly, Vinhomes is the company in charge of investment and trading in residential real estate, offices and related items. These business activities of Vingroup and its subsidiaries/affiliated companies will be transferred and concentrated to Vinhomes. Therefore:
- The company increased its charter capital to 28,365,000,000,000 VND through the private offering of shares, payment of dividends by shares and merger of Tan Lien Phat Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Vinhomes Real Estate Business and Management Joint Stock Company according to the Registration Certificate. 18th business registration dated February 1, 2018.
- The company changed its name to Vinhomes Joint Stock Company according to the 19th amended Business Registration Certificate dated February 2, 2018.
- The Company reduced its charter capital to 26,796,115,500,000 VND due to separating other operations from the Company according to the 20th change of Business Registration Certificate dated February 12, 2018.
- The company changes the legal representative (Ms. Nguyen Dieu Linh) according to the 21st change of Business Registration Certificate dated February 23, 2018.
- Me Tri Sports and Entertainment Development Joint Stock Company (“Me Tri Company”) merged into the Company according to the 22nd amended Business Registration Certificate dated April 12, 2018. Before merging with Me Tri Company, Vinhomes was the parent company that owned 98% of the voting rate of Me Tri Company. In April 2018, Vinhomes bought back the remaining 2% voting rate from other shareholders to own 100% of the voting rate of Me Tri Company and then merged Me Tri Company into Vinhomes. After the merger, Me Tri Company no longer exists.
