Electrical Construction Company 3 was established by merging two companies, Line and Station Construction Company 3 with Line and Station Construction Company 5
From 1994 to 1997: was an independent accounting company under Vietnam Electricity Corporation (now Vietnam Electricity Group)
In 1998, Vietnam Industrial Construction Corporation was established, Electrical Construction Company 3 is a member company of Vietnam Industrial Construction Corporation
On September 30, 2002, Electrical Construction Company 3 was reorganized into a State Holding Company under the Ministry of Industry to pilot operations under the Parent Company and Subsidiary Company model
From December 2005: Electricity Construction Company 3 transformed into Vietnam Electricity Construction Joint Stock Corporation.
The company began listing with the stock code VNE on August 9, 2007 on the Ho Chi Minh City stock exchange. Consulting organization: Saigon Securities Joint Stock Company (SSI). Independent audit: auditing and information technology services company (AISC) Hanoi branch.
The company's total number of employees as of 2007 is 3,700 people. The company's organizational structure is as follows: 01 headquarters in Da Nang City; 10 subsidiaries in Hanoi, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Hue, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City; 11 affiliated companies in Da Nang, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh.
In 2008 and 2009, the Corporation implemented investment and business projects in tourism and services as an investor and completed a 4-star luxury hotel project in Da Nang.
In the fourth quarter of 2010, the Corporation increased its charter capital from 320 billion VND to 637 billion VND. On October 27, 2010, 31,721,061 additional shares were listed.
