- 90s: Vinafreight is a specialized air transport unit of Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Trade Logistics and Logistics Company (Vinatrans), specializing in air transport services, logistics services and shipping agents.
- 2001: The Minister of Trade issued Decision No. 0964/2001/QD/BTM approving the equitization plan to convert the logistics service enterprise into Foreign Transport Joint Stock Company Trading name is Vinafreight with an initial charter capital of 18 billion VND, specializing in domestic and international transportation services, warehousing, office leasing, import and export...
- Year 2002: The company officially operated under the legal status granted by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City. The company officially became a member of VIFFAS, marking an important turning point in the company's development career.
- Year 2004: Contributed capital to establish Vector International Co., Ltd., specializing in General Agent services for airlines, in turn designated as General Agent of Malaysia Airlines, China Southern Airlines, K-miles, Uzbekistan Airways, Egypt Air, Scandinavian Air Services and many other airlines. The company established the Aviation Sales department, the Air Freight Forwarding department, and the Logistics department on the basis of the Air Freight Forwarding department. In addition, the company also contributed capital to establish V- Truck three-member automobile transport LLC and two-member VAX Global LLC.
- Year 2005: Contributed capital to establish Kintetsu Vietnam Joint Venture Company Limited, contributed capital to establish Far East Company Limited (Far East) specializing in forwarding and aviation services. Vien Dong Company is appointed as General Cargo Agent of Cargo Italia Airlines.
- The Ministry of Transport licenses multimodal transport business to Vinafreight.
- Year 2006: The company deployed domestic and international express delivery services - Vinaquick, contributed capital to establish Jardine Shipping Services Vietnam Joint Venture Company Limited.
- Year 2007: Officially registered as a public company with the State Securities Commission
- Year 2008: The company carried out a full package of transporting machinery, equipment, and production materials for a number of large customers from abroad to Vietnam for production and re-export to other countries.
- Year 2009: Opened an office in Binh Duong to perform package services for large customers in industrial parks in Binh Duong. Vector Company is appointed as an agent for Hongkong Air, operating Transaero's Freighter aircraft.
- Year 2010: November 22, 2010 is the official trading day of VNF shares of Foreign Transport Joint Stock Company Trading on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX)
