Establishment Timeline, development:
- The Company's predecessor was the Level I Veterinary Supplies Company, established in 1973 on the basis of separating the veterinary supplies supply department from the Pesticides and Veterinary Supplies Company according to Decision No. 97 NN-TCQD dated March 23, 1973 of the Ministry of Agriculture.
- In 1983, the Ministry of Agriculture issued Decision No. 156/TCCB-QD dated June 11, 1983, converting the Company into a unit under the management of the Ministry (level 1).
- From May 1993 to December 1999, the Company operated as a state-owned enterprise with the main functions and tasks of producing and trading and importing vaccines and veterinary drugs to serve the livestock industry nationwide. The company switched from a business enterprise to both producing and trading veterinary drugs - a new field where technical products require the company to have more efforts, solutions and investment in production to be able to develop sustainably, meet mission requirements and be accepted by the consumer market.
- In the early stages of 1993, the Company only had a few products on the market, but by the end of 1999, the Company had more than 150 products put into circulation and accepted by the market, including products that are the key spearhead of the Company, effective in treating diseases and bringing high economic efficiency. Among them, 10 products won the Golden Rice Award and 2 products won Gold Medals at international fairs. The Company's production and business activities develop with a higher growth rate next year than the previous year. The company's reputation and brand with customers nationwide is guaranteed, and the market is maintained. Currently, the Company is still producing traditional products and further expanding products to market to meet the growing needs of customers.
- Implementing the Government's policy on equitizing state-owned enterprises, on January 26, 2000, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development signed Decision No. 06/2000/QD BNN-TCCH on converting Central Veterinary Supplies Company 1 into Central Veterinary Medicine Joint Stock Company 1. The company officially operated in the form of a joint stock company from June 7, 2000 according to the Certificate Business Registration Certificate No. 0100102326 was first issued by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment on June 7, 2000 with an initial charter capital of 7 billion VND.
- In 2004, to promote business, the Company established a subsidiary - Central Veterinary Medicine Company Limited I with an initial charter capital of 5 billion VND, by 2013 increased charter capital to 50 billion VND.

- Production of drugs, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal materials. Details: Production and processing of aquatic veterinary drugs; Producing and processing veterinary drugs;
- Import and trade in vaccines and biological products.
- Other professional, scientific and technological activities not classified elsewhere. Details: Commercial services; Research to bring technical advances into the production of veterinary drugs and veterinary supplies.
