Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation (VOCARIMEX) is a leading company in the Vietnamese Vegetable Oil industry, established in 1976, formerly known as Southern Vegetable Oil Company.
- August 12, 1976: Southern Vegetable Oil Company was established.
- March 23, 1986, the Southern Vegetable Oil Enterprise was renamed the Vietnam Union of Vegetable Oil Enterprises (according to Decree No. 28/HDBT of the Council of Ministers)
- June 6, 1992: Vietnam Vegetable Oil Flavor and Cosmetic Company (Vocarimex) was officially established under decision No. 452/CNN-TCLD.
- December 23, 2004: According to Decision No. 175/2004/QD-BCN of the Ministry of Industry, Vietnam Vegetable Oil Flavors and Cosmetics Company switched to operating under the Parent Company - Subsidiary model. The parent company's current capital as of January 1, 2014 is 472,108 billion VND.
- September 28, 2009: The Minister of Industry and Trade issued a decision to convert Vietnam Vegetable Oil Flavors and Cosmetics Company into Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation, operating according to the Parent Company - Subsidiary model. The current capital of the Parent Company is 674,533 billion VND.
- June 8, 2010: The company changed its operating model to a LLC. The parent company's current capital remains the same at 674,533 billion VND.
- May 9, 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2239/QD-BCT dated May 9, 2011 on the equitization of the Parent Company - Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation.
- June 2, 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2712/QD-BCT dated June 2, 2011 on the establishment of the Equitization Steering Committee of Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation.
- June 19, 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3415/QD-BCT on determining the value of the Parent Company - Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation under the Ministry of Industry and Trade for equitization.
- May 16, 2014, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 4350/QD-BCT on approving the strategic investor of Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation.
- July 25, 2014: Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation - One Member LLC successfully organized the initial public offering auction at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, with the number of shares offered for auction being 37,901,500 shares, the highest successful bid was 30,000 VND/share, the lowest successful bid was 13,000 VND/share, average auction price is 13,428 VND/share
- November 29, 2014: Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation successfully organized the General Meeting of Shareholders to establish a Joint Stock Company.
- December 31, 2014: The company changed its operating model to a Joint Stock Company with the name Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation - Joint Stock Company, with a charter capital of 1,218,000,000,000 VND.
- March 13, 2015: Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 1113/UBCK - QLPH dated March 13, 2015 of the State Securities Commission on approval of public company registration for Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation - JSC.
- April 28, 2016: Vietnam Vegetable Oil Industry Corporation - Joint Stock Company was granted a securities registration certificate by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center with the number of 121,800,000 shares.

- Production and trading of animal and vegetable oils and fats, essential oils, flavors, cosmetics, detergents, coconut shell charcoal and products from oil plants.
- Import, export and trade in supplies, raw materials, vegetable oils, essential oil products, oily agricultural and forestry products and specialized equipment and supplies for the Corporation's tasks.
