Establishment History and development:
- April 1976: The company was announced to be established with the original name Southern Antiseptic Company.
- In 1990: The company changed its name to Vietnam Antiseptic Drug Company according to Decision No. 70/HC - TCLD dated February 24, 1990 of the General Director of the General Department of Chemicals.
- In 1993: Vietnam Pesticide Company was allowed to re-establish as an independent accounting unit under Vietnam Chemical Corporation with a capital of 99,573,000,000 VND according to Decision No. 72/CNNg/TC dated February 13, 1993 of the Minister of Industry.
- In 2005: The company carried out equitization in the form of selling off part of the existing State capital in the enterprise according to Decision No. 3494/QD-TCCB dated December 28, 2004 of the Ministry of Industry on the equitization of Vietnam Antiseptic Drug Company.
- June 2006: Vietnam Pesticide Joint Stock Company (VIPESCO) officially went into operation under Business Registration Certificate No. 4103004735 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City on May 11, 2006 with charter capital 156,000,000,000 VND. Company under Vietnam Chemical Group - Ministry of Industry and Trade.
- June 2007: The company was recognized by the State Securities Commission to become a public company.
- May 2008: The company increased its charter capital to 174,719,940,000 VND through paying stock dividends to existing shareholders.
