- 2012: Established Vincom Retail Company Limited
- 2013: Converted from limited liability company to joint stock company. The company received the transfer of three Vincom shopping centers from Vingroup including Vincom Center Ba Trieu, Vincom Center Dong Khoi and Vincom Plaza Long Bien. Receive transfer of Vincom Mega Mall Royal City shopping center from Vingroup. Received the first investment of 200 million USD from the investment fund Warburg Pincus Investments III B.V. and Credit Suisse AG Singapore branch
- 2014: Received transfer of Vincom Mega Mall Times City from Vingroup. Opening of Vincom Plaza Ha Long Shopping Center - the first shopping center outside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Owns a portfolio of 6 shopping malls as of December 31, 2014
- 2015: Opening of Vincom Mega Mall Thao Dien. Opened 10 new shopping malls and acquired 5 Maximark supermarkets. Owns a portfolio of 21 shopping malls as of December 31, 2015, with a total retail floor area of about 850,000 m2. Continue to receive the second investment worth 100 million USD from Warburg Pincus Investments III B.V fund
- 2016: Launch of Vincom Shopping Center. Zara's first store in Vietnam opened at Vincom Center Dong Khoi. Opening of 10 new shopping malls. Receive capital contributions and assets totaling about 8,610 billion VND (equivalent to 390 million USD) from Vingroup. Owns a portfolio of 31 shopping malls as of December 31, 2016, with a total retail floor area of about 1 million m2
- June 2017: Opening of 9 new shopping malls. Owns a portfolio of 40 shopping malls, with a total retail floor area of about 1.1 million m2. H&M's first store in Vietnam opened at Vincom Center Dong Khoi
