Calendaruseformation and development:
- In 1977, Vietnam Textile and Garment Corporation was established with 5 departments and managed 64 member units. Facing some difficulties in the management and operation of the Corporation,on June 8, 2000, the Textile and Garment Import-Export Company was a dependent accounting member unit, established under Decision No. 37/2000/QD-BCN of the Ministry of Industry on the basis of reorganizing the Import-Export Department of the Corporation. - Implementing the roadmap to arrange businesses and restructure the group, Vietnam Textile and Garment Corporation (now Vietnam Textile and Garment Group - Vinatex) has decided to merge Textile Import-Export Company and No. 1 Trading Service Company into Textile and Garment Production - Import-Export Company according to the Decision No. 87/QD-HĐQT dated February 21, 2006 of Vinatex Board of Directors.
- Continuing to implement Vinatex's restructuring roadmap, on October 1, 2007, Textile and Garment Production - Import-Export Company changed to operate in the form of a joint stock company according to Decision No. 2414/QD-BCN dated July 12, 2007 of the Ministry of Industry. Textile Production - Import-Export Joint Stock Company operates under Business Registration Certificate No. 0103020072 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi on October 17, 2007 with a charter capital of 35 billion VND.
- On November 5, 2010, Hanoi Stock Exchange issued Decision No. 812/QD-SGDHN on approving the registration of stock trading of Textile and Garment Production-Import Joint Stock Company; The Company's shares will be traded on the UPCOM market of the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
