- Mien Tay Bus Station was built and put into operation in 1973. After 1975, the State took over, the bus station continued to operate and belonged to the City Department of Transport. In 1978, Mien Tay Bus Station belonged to the Western Interprovincial Bus Company. In 1992, Mien Tay Bus Station transformed into a State-owned enterprise and in 1997, it transformed into a State-owned enterprise operating for public purposes.
- From May 3, 2006, Mien Tay Bus Station officially operates as a joint stock company with the managing agency being Saigon Transport Mechanical Corporation - One Member Limited Liability Company (SAMCO).
- Western Bus Station Joint Stock Company was officially listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange on September 17, 2010. The Company's current charter capital is 25 billion VND.
