Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Established in July 1978, formerly Military Equipment Factory 26 under the Department of Military Ordnance with the mission of producing all kinds of hats, shoes, stretchers, hammocks, backpacks, canvas tents to provide military equipment for Army units.
- In April 1979, with great efforts and overcoming all difficulties, the factory built two factories producing powder batteries, cold pressing seo and core pressing houses with an area of 327m2. In parallel with the task of building a production factory, the factory embarked on maintaining its operations. By June 1979. All workers retrained at Factory 28, including 103 comrades, were placed in production positions at the Factory. The current number of workers at the Factory is 180 comrades and 17 soldiers.
- By 1980, the Military Ordnance Department was split into two departments: the Military Food Department and the Military Equipment Department according to Decision No. 385/QD of the Ministry of National Defense. Military Ordnance Factory 26 was transferred to the Military Equipment Department. In 1981, the General Department of Logistics decided to change the name of Military Equipment Workshop 26 to Factory 26 with the main task of producing hard hats and launching the production of a new product, Kepi hats
- In April 1996, in compliance with the resolution of the Central Military Party Committee on reforming and rearranging state-owned enterprises in the Army, the Minister of National Defense signed Decision No. 472/QDQP dated April 17, 1996 on the establishment of Company 26 under the General Department of Logistics (on the basis of merging Xi Enterprise 26 and Enterprise 804).
- In 2005, the Company gradually implemented Decision No. 1358/QD-BQP dated July 1, 2005 of the Ministry of National Defense on equitizing Company 26. In December 2006, the Ministry of National Defense issued Decision No. 3614/QD-BQP officially approving the Company's equitization plan and converting Company 26 into a Joint Stock Company. 26 with an approved charter capital of 50 billion VND, the State owns 51% of the company's charter capital. And was granted the first business registration certificate No. 0102117423 issued by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment on May 15, 2007.
- On October 30, 2017, Joint Stock Company 26 was approved by the State Securities Commission as a public company.
- On May 21, 2018, the company was granted securities registration certificate No. 33/2018/GCNCP-VSD by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center with the number of registered securities being 5,000,000 shares.
