Establishment History:
- Yen Bai Cement and Mineral Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Yen Bai Cement Factory, was built in the early 80s with an initial design capacity of 60,000 tons of cement products/year.
- In 2002, a new line was equipped, increasing the total capacity of the Cement Factory to 120,000 tons/year.
- In 2004, investment in renovation increased the capacity of the Cement Factory to 150,000 tons/year.
- On December 17, 2003, the People's Committee of Yen Bai province issued Decision No. 376/QD-UB on approving the equitization plan and converting the state-owned enterprise Yen Bai Cement Factory into Yen Bai Cement Joint Stock Company.
- On January 1, 2004, Yen Bai Cement Joint Stock Company was granted a Business Registration Certificate and officially went into operation under the joint stock company model.
- On December 17, 2007, the company was officially renamed Yen Bai Cement and Mineral Joint Stock Company.
- On April 21, 2008, the Company was granted a Certificate of stock listing registration on the Hanoi Stock Exchange; May 20, 2008 was the first trading day of shares of Yen Bai Cement and Minerals Joint Stock Company (stock code YBC) at the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
- In March 2009, the Company was granted a Certificate of public offering of shares by the State Securities Commission. At the end of the issuance, the Company's charter capital increased from 22,108,800,000 VND to 48,374,300,000 VND.
